# Announcing web3con presented by Developer DAO

We are proud announce **web3con** taking place February 28th - March 6th 2022! web3con is a virtual conference to help developers of all skill levels collaborate, learn and vibe together.

## What is web3con? 🕸3️⃣
[web3con](https://www.web3con.dev/) is a free hackathon and virtual conference open to the general public that is organized by [Developer DAO](https://www.developerdao.com/) members. 

In the spirit of Developer DAO, this conference is aimed to accelerate the education and impact of the new wave of Web3 builders. If you are a developer, educator, creator or just curious about Web3, this conference is for you!

**Registration for web3con (Hackathon/Conference) is now open and be found [here](https://emamo.com/event/web3con/)**.  For Developer DAO members, there is a special member ticket when connecting your wallet. 

You will be provided details on the live stream, Gather town links and Hackathon details closer to the conference.

**The call for proposals (CFP) is now open and you can apply directly [here](https://sessionize.com/web3-con-2022/).**  We want to encourage first time speakers and people of all skill levels! We have created this [resource list](https://bit.ly/3567ug3) to help you get started.
